Some people like to travel. What this exactly mean? Do they like to rush to the airport and be stuck in the traffic facing to miss the flight? Do they like to sit in the car or on the train watching the miles (electric poles, stations or other indicators) passing by? I like to sit on the airport (or train/bus station) watching strange people. Everyone is so different, going somewhere, having something in mind. I pulled out a box of old floppy disks. The label reads © WordPerfect Corporation 1989 I pulled out one of my old laptops. The floppy disks are still good - I installed WordPerfect 5.1 I'm staring in the black screen with blinking cursor (forget Windows) trying to remember menu options hiden under function keys. 10 keys (each alone, with Shift, Alt and Control) give 40 combinations. Does the rubbish really exists? Inorganic matter can be transformed or decomposed. I'm surprised with lack of recycling in the USA. I know it's a big country, much bigger than old Europe, but the landfills are still limitted. In the micro scale I have boxes of obsolete or unknown stuff - old laptops and parts, A/C adapters and cables with various plugs. I don't know how to make use of it, where to offer, who can benefit from it. And I'm not throwing this to the garbage because one day it may be useful. I'm wasting time on preserving the waste.
